- Awesome - Great new management ! The new staff is pleasent and helpful. I was going for a walk with
my dog during the blizzard and they were open! I'm going to stop going to the chain store down the street, Pet Needs is now my dog food place.
- Still really great staff who'll carry your special order food to your car (parking is free for the 1st 30 minutes) or will deliver it. Also, the pup discovered all new and tasty treats on our last visit!
- Now under new (and really nice) management, Pet Needs remains a great store with great finds and bargains. Recently the store has been cleaned up and de-cluttered a lot. It is much easier to find merchandise now. The store continues to carry great food, treats, toys, and accessories at great prices in a convenient location with great hours (including Sunday). I highly recommend Pet Needs especially Davey the in-store guinea pig!
- Remember back in the day when you'd go into a store and be greeted by its very knowledgeable, passionate owner? Well I guess most of those have been gone since before I was even born, but this is definitely one of those places. Not only is the service far better than that big store a half mile down Connecticut, but they even have some dog foods that the big stores don't carry (I spoil my dog with the
healthy, natural stuff)
- This place is Fantastic! You really get local/small business feeling here - and they genuinely care about your needs and those of your pet. I truly appreciate the new ownership- She is fabulous and really helpful. The store is small, so don't expect them to have every possible thing on the market - but if you're looking for something they don't have she is entirely willing to help you get it. Although they carry higher-end products and natural goods, they aren't a snobby fancy store (a plus, in my opinion). If you're in the NW area - skip out on the big box pet stores and give them a chance, you won't regret it!
- Love, love, love this little place. Visited recently and discovered a knowledgeable staff, reasonable selection, and Davey the resident guinea pig. If you're in the neighborhood, I beg you to choose Pet Needs over a chain store in the area.
- Absolutely excellent customer service at this small neighborhood pet shop -- the owner has never forgotten my name, and always remembers my pet needs! The prices are fantastic, too. I expected them to be more expensive, but I always end up paying more at Petco or Petsmart for the same product. It's also the kind of place where, if you can't find something, it can usually be ordered directly for you. I'm incredibly happy and drive the distance (literally) to shop here.
