January 2012:
Pollyana
Type of Animal: Rat Terrier
Origins: Shelter Vancouver, WA
Likes: To go for walks, play ball, ride in the car, give kisses and guard her toys
Dislikes: When her brother Rudy tries to steal her toys
Human companions: Laura & Chris
Special skills: When giving kisses she stick her tongue up your noses. Also how fast she can wiggle her butt. She is the happiest dog I have ever met.
Rudy
Type of Animal: Rat Terrier/Miniature Pincher Mix
Origins: Shelter Bellingham, WA
Likes: To go for walks, race and play chase, steal his sister Pollyanna’s toys
Dislikes: Hardwood floors, loud noise like fireworks and thunder
Human companions: Laura & Chris
Special skills: He smiles when he gets excited. Also he is a great instigator – he knows how to push Pollyanna’s buttons like stealing her toys
December 2011:
Chuckles, Louie, and Ricky
Type of Animal(s): Domestic Shorthair street cats (Ricky and Chuckles are tiger and white; Louie is orange tabby)
Origins: Ricky (adopted from MD shelter); Chuckles (picked up off the streets of Baltimore); Louie (picked up off the streets of Cairo, Egypt)
Likes: Ricky loves butter and Ron; Chuckles loves b'fast, lunch and dinner and a stack of ultrasoft pillows; Louie loves food of any kind, getting his chin scratched and the laser dot.
Dislikes: They all hate it when their food is late and caterwaul accordingly
Human companions: Julia & Ron
Special skills: Ricky can lick the powdered sugar off cookies in the dead of night; Chuckles can steal your pillow if you even blink; Louie can climb on anything regardless of the fact his back legs have nerve damage
November 2011:

Type of Animal: Guinea Pigs.
Origins: Orange County Cavy Haven Guinea Pig Rescue.
Likes: Both: Food! Especially salad mixes.
October 2011:
Cupid (buck), Guinness (doe), Hazel (doe)
Type of Animal: Pile of Rabbits (mixed)
Origins: Alexandria Animal Welfare League
Likes: Cupid - eating, getting groomed
Guinness - being a sweetheart, grooming Cupid
Hazel - being the boss, out-smarting the humans
All - yummy hay, cardboard box tunnels, scratches on the head
